- The baptism record of her daughter shows her names to be Martha van der Burg [4] but other sources shows it to be Martha Maria van den Berg [5]

- About 1802 - no prime source available but Familyseach shows this date [6].
- Her husband Johan David Stroh (abt.1767-) married a second time on 2/10/1803 and we can assume that his first wife died before that date [5]
Research Notes
- The name of her father as shown on the baptism entry looked like "van dir Burg" but after further inspection the dot above the "i" seems rather to be the "full stop" behind the name of the child, and therefore the surname of the father should be "van der Burg" [1]. The LNAB of Martha will now be changed to reflect this. Kobus Trichardt on 9 Oct 2022.
